The exhibition tells the story of Moscow through the roar of car engines and the bold decisions of architects. The garages of the 1920s and 1930s became one of the symbols of modernist architecture, inspired by industrial aesthetics. The protagonists of the exhibition are not only the buildings, remarkable in their engineering solutions, but also their contemporaries: Vladimir Mayakovsky and Lilya Brik, Lev Davidovich and Konstantin Melnikov, Viktor Shklovsky and Alexander Rodchenko.
